Shops and commissions on CarbonNetwork Creative

The Creative economy on CarbonNetwork: your wallet, shops, auctions, and taking a paid commission to build something for another player.

Medium2 min read

Money here is Creative's own balance, separate from your SMP and Skyblock balances.

Your balance

/bal one line: what you have
/baltop the ten largest balances here
/pay <player> <amount> pay them, now
/wallet balance, pay someone, recent history

There's no /bal <player>; /baltop shows the ten largest balances on this server, and where you stand. Amounts read short ($1.5K, $2M), and you can type them that way: /pay Ada 1.5k. A payment over $1,000 asks you to confirm first, so a typo is easy to catch.

Accept payments in /wallet stops people paying you.

Shops

/shop — your own shop. /shop <player> — theirs, even offline. /auction — the auction house: bid on other players' items, or auction your own.

Click an item to buy it. Your own listings say reclaim instead.

List New Item takes an item from your inventory and lets you set a price with +/−; Confirm Listing puts it up. Your shop holds 45 items.

Commissions

Build jobs. The poster says what they'll give: money, anything else, or both.

/commission opens the board of open jobs.

Posting

Post a Commission → set icon, title, brief, and a price, an offer or both → confirm.

  • Price: taken from your balance the moment you post, and held until the work is confirmed. From 1,000 to 10,000,000, or none.
  • Offer: anything else, in your own words ("my old elytra", "I'll build your shop next"). The server shows it on the job but doesn't hold it. You hand it over yourself.

You can have three open jobs at a time.

Building

Left-click an open job on the board to accept it. Build it, then mark it delivered from My Commissions.

My Commissions

/commission mine shows jobs you've posted and jobs you're building.

If the poster never responds, the builder is paid after 7 days. A disputed job stays on hold until it's settled.

Ratings are 1–5 stars with an optional comment, once per job. Use /commission reputation <player> to look someone up before hiring.

You need an hour of playtime to post or accept a job.
