Making money on CarbonNetwork Skyblock

How money works on CarbonNetwork’s Skyblock server: quick sell and quick buy, sell chests that sell for you, player shops and chest shops.

Easy3 min read

Money here is Skyblock's own balance. It's separate from your SMP and Creative money, and so is your battle pass progress.

Your balance

/bal what you have
/baltop the ten largest balances here
/pay <player> <amount> at least $100
/wallet balance, pay someone, recent history

A payment over $100,000 asks you to confirm first.

Quick sell

The fastest way to turn what your island makes into money.

/quicksell

Also Escape → Skyblock → Quick Sell.

Put items in the chest, check the total on Sell everything, and click it. Anything without a price stays put. Close the chest and whatever's left comes back to you.

Hover over any item to see what it sells for.

Quick buy

/quickbuy

Also Escape → Skyblock → Quick Buy.

Your own list of things you keep running out of. Click one to pick an amount and buy it. Add more from the full catalogue. Selling pays a little over half of what buying costs.

Sell chests

A chest that sells what's inside by itself, every 15 minutes, at quick sell prices. Feed it from a minion's Chest Link or a hopper and it pays you while you're away.

/sellchests your island's sell chests, and what each sold this week

Also Escape → Skyblock → Island → Sell chests.

  • Get one from the barge. Place it on your island like a chest.
  • It won't join into a double chest, and explosions can't hurt it.
  • The hologram above it counts down to the next sale.
  • An island can have 4, more with the owner's rank.

Shift-right-click it with an empty hand to open it:

Ledgerevery sale for the last 30 days, and who got what
Pick upshift-click. The chest and what's in it go to your inventory

Player shops

/shop yours
/shop <player> theirs, even offline

Click an item to buy it. List New Item puts something of yours up for sale.

Auctions

/auction — the auction house. It's bidding, and it's separate from the Market.

  • Bid: click an auction and type your bid. It has to beat the top bid by at least the seller's minimum increase. Your bid is held from your balance, and if someone outbids you it comes straight back.
  • Buy now: shift-click an auction with a buy-now price to end it at once for that price.
  • Last-second bids: a bid with 20 seconds or less left puts the clock back to 20 seconds, so everyone gets a chance to answer.
  • Selling: click Start an auction and put in what you're selling: one stack, or up to 27 as one bundle. Then set the starting bid, the minimum increase, a buy-now price (optional) and when it ends: a length like 24h or 2d 6h, or a time like 18:00 or 2026-10-12 18:00. You can take it down until the first bid; after that it runs to the end.
  • Bundles show as a glowing shulker box in a colour you pick. Right-click one to see every stack in it. The winner gets all of them.
  • How many at once: 2 auctions, 4 with VIP, 6 with VIP+, 8 with MVP and 10 with Carbon.
  • When it ends, the winner's item and an unsold item both wait in /rewards, even if you're offline. The seller is paid the winning bid, less the market tax.
  • Quick buy can fill from an auction's buy-now price when that's the cheapest way, but never at more than 1.5× the usual price, and it always shows a red warning screen first. Those stacks arrive in /rewards.
  • Quick sell won't buy enchanted or renamed items; Auction it instead sends one to the setup screen. A buy-now price can be at most 3× what the item is usually worth.

Chest shops

Put a sign on a stocked chest on your island to sell from it. You get paid even when you're offline.

/chestshop the main menu
/chestshop mine your shops, stock and takings
/chestshop find <item> who's selling it
/chestshop history
