Getting around CarbonNetwork Creative and the other servers

Moving about on CarbonNetwork’s Creative server and between servers — teleports, private messages, going AFK and returning to the hub.

Easy1 min read

Teleports

/spawn this server's spawn
/tpa <player> ask to teleport to them
/tpahere <player> ask them to come to you
/tpaccept /tpdeny

If several requests are waiting, /tpaccept on its own accepts the newest. Add a name to pick another.

To get to plots, use /plot home and /plot visit <player>. See Server basics.

Private messages

/msg <player> <message> aliases /tell, /pm
/r <message> reply to whoever you last messaged, or who last messaged you
/seen <player> when they were last on

/w is not a private message. It's a whisper that reaches 6 blocks, so anyone next to you hears it. See Chat, cards & records.

You can turn off incoming messages in the pause-menu options. /r forgets who to reply to when you log out.

Away

/afk marks you away, and 5 idle minutes does the same. It doesn't disconnect you. It just stops you counting as present.

Looking around counts as activity. Being pushed along by water doesn't.

Small conveniences

/sit sit down where you stand
/ptime a time of day only you can see, for screenshots

Both come with ranks. Your rank also sets how many palettes, snapshot slots and showcase entries you get, and each menu shows your number.

Moving between servers

/hub the lobby
/queue your position, if a server was full

Escape → Servers takes you straight to another server.

If a server is full, you're put in a queue instead of being turned away. You stay connected and see your place in line and a time estimate.

SMP and Skyblock have their own money. If your balance seems to vanish when you switch servers, that's why. It's still here when you come back.

The [N] chat channel reaches every server at once. See Chat, cards & records.
