| Command | Prefix | Reaches |
|---|---|---|
/local | , | ~60 blocks |
/global | @ | Everyone on this server |
/network | ~ | Everyone on every server |
/ic | — | In-character; range set by the game |
/ooc | # | Out-of-character, to the scene |
/me | * | Third-person emote |
/w | - | ~6 blocks |
/shout | ! | ~100 blocks |
Start a message with the prefix to send one line there without switching. Double it to
send it literally (##brb → #brb).
/chat filters — set your active channel, mute Local, Global or Network, switch Local
between proximity and everyone. IC and OOC always reach you.
Muting Global doesn't mute Network, and muting Network doesn't mute Global.
Which channel a line came from
Every line starts with one letter; hover it for what it means.
| Tag | Channel |
|---|---|
[L] | Local |
[G] | Global — this server |
[N] | Network — every server. A second tag names the server it came from |
[R] | In-character |
[O] | OOC |
Clickable lines
You can click names, commands and buttons in server messages.
| What | Hover shows | Click does |
|---|---|---|
| A player's name | Their rank, and which server they're on | Opens their card |
| A role label in a scene | The label, and the scene it belongs to | Opens that character's card |
| A command with no arguments | Click to run it | Runs it |
| A command that takes arguments | Click to put it in your chat box | Drops it in your chat box to finish |
A button — [Collect], [Accept] | — | The thing it says |
Buttons stop working after about five minutes and tell you so if you click one. You can still type the command they stood for.
In a label-only game you can hover a role label, but clicking does nothing because there's no card.
Cards
/card yours · /card <player> theirs · /card edit the editor (name,
pronouns, bio, portrait from your held item).
Game owners pick the mode in /rp manage → Roles & Characters → Character cards: label
only, owner-written cards per role, or everyone's own.
Stats
/stats · /stats <player> · /stats privacy to set who sees each group.
Only you can ever see your wealth stats.
Scene recorder
Record what people do in a scene and play it back as ghosts.
/scene menu — click a take to play, pause, stop, rename, loop or share. Shift-click
deletes.
Starting a recording is a typed command, since it needs a cast:
/scene record start <name> <player...>
/scene record stop|cancel|status
5 min per take, 10 takes each, 24 ghosts per playback. /scene play <name> anonymous hides
who was who. /scene privacy on opts you out of being recorded.
Journal
The transcript of a scene's in-character speech, recorded while a game runs.
/journal — click a scene to read it or get it as a book. Shift-click deletes.
You can export as often as you like. Up to 4000 lines, kept for 90 days.
Whispers are included. Use /journal optout on to keep your lines out.
Deleting a game doesn't delete its journals; remove those here.
