Rules

The rules

These hold on every server and in our Discord. In game, type /rules.

  1. 1Be respectful. No harassment or sexual harassment.
  2. 2Stealing and raiding are allowed on SMP, now and then. Don’t keep hitting the same players or cause havoc.
  3. 3No hacked clients or x-ray.
  4. 4Don’t beg for items.
  5. 5No TP trapping or Nether portal trapping. Normal traps are fine.
  6. 6No racism, hate speech or discrimination.
  7. 7No griefing.
  8. 8No auto-clickers, macros, key weighting, auto-fishing or auto-miners. Being AFK is fine.
  9. 9English only in public chat.
  10. 10No 0-tick farms, flying machines or AFK machines.
  11. 11No bullying, and no lying to hurt people.
  12. 12Don’t advertise player warps or shops in /ah.
  13. 13No fake items in the auction house.
  14. 14No death threats, and never encourage self-harm.
  15. 15Don’t spam or flood chat, and don’t advertise other servers.
  16. 16Don’t dodge the chat filter or swear excessively.
  17. 17Don’t abuse bugs, dupes or the economy. Report them.
  18. 18No doxxing or sharing anyone’s personal info.
  19. 19Keep skins, names, builds and signs appropriate.
  20. 20No real-money trading.
  21. 21Don’t argue with players or staff. Take it to a ticket.
  22. 22No ban or mute evasion.
  23. 23Don’t encourage others to break the rules.
  24. 24No scamming.
  25. 25Behave during events.
  26. 26Use common sense. Staff have the final say, and these rules can change.

New players are protected for their first 5 hours on SMP. If someone takes from your chests, you and your trusted friends can fight them in your claim for 3 minutes.

What happens

Staff go by what you did and what you’ve done before. Roughly:

  • A warning

    First time, and you stopped when asked.

  • A mute

    Chat problems. It follows you to every server.

  • A rollback

    Griefing. The build goes back, and so does anything you gained.

  • A temporary ban

    Repeat offences, bullying or TP trapping.

  • A permanent ban

    Cheating, duping, ban evasion, real-money trading, hate speech, threats, doxxing and payment fraud.

Appealing

Every ban and mute can be appealed through the contact page, not in DMs. Include your in-game name, roughly when it happened and what you think it was for. We aim to answer within two days.
