CarbonNetwork Creative basics: plots, voice chat and limits
The basics of CarbonNetwork’s Creative server: claiming a plot, proximity voice chat, the options menu, cosmetics and the build limits.

Plots
The main plot commands:
/plot auto claim a free plot
/plot home go to yours
/plot trust <player> let someone build on it permanently
/plot visit <player>
For temporary access use /buildwith — see Building.
Voice chat
Proximity voice works only within a single plot. Two people on either side of a plot border can't hear each other, however close they are. Talking earns battle pass XP.
For push-to-talk, volume and groups, open the voice chat menu (V by default).
The Escape menu
Press Escape. Under the usual buttons is a CarbonNetwork button, which opens six more:
| Button | Behind it |
|---|---|
| Build | Item picker, hotbar palettes, plot snapshots, plot lint, schematics |
| You | Wallet, messages, journals, your card, the store |
| Play | Battlepass, roleplay, the guides, spawn |
| Community | Build browser, commission board, the market |
| Settings | Gameplay, Notifications, Privacy, Sounds |
| Servers | Who is where, and one click to switch |
Settings is worth opening at least once. Some opt-outs are only found there. It has four pages:
- Privacy — who can message you and pay you, whether you can be recorded in a scene or have your camera taken over, and which of your stats other players can see.
- Notifications — everything the server says to you unasked, with one Everything off.
- Sounds — every cue, with the same Everything off.
- Gameplay — particles, build session particles, the sidebar, your cosmetics.
Cosmetics
/cosmetics has pets, effects, hats, mounts and morphs, plus tags, name colours
and join messages.
Click to wear, click again to take off. Locked rows name the rank that unlocks them.
/cosmetics save save your whole current look
/cosmetics wear put it back on
/cosmetics off clear everything
Cosmetics are only for looks. None of them affect gameplay or can be used on another player.
Build limits
Some things are capped. You'll be told when you hit a limit.
Not obtainable: command blocks, spawners, structure blocks, jigsaws, knowledge books.
Debug stick: grab one from /items to change a block's state (stair shape, fence
connections, log direction). It only works in creative mode, on a plot you can build on.
Per plot: 150 mobs · 60 armour stands · 80 item frames · 400 displays · 20 vehicles.
Redstone: if a chunk's redstone fires far too fast, it pauses for about ten seconds and anyone nearby is told. Then it starts again on its own.
/lint (Build tools) shows how close a plot is to these limits before
it becomes a problem.
