Step-by-step setups for games and contests you can run on your plot tonight. Each one uses the tools in /rp manage. Games covers the basics, and Events & competitions has races, treasure hunts and quiz shows.

Every recipe: who · how long · set up · run it · who wins.

Stories

Murder mystery

6–12 players · 45 min

  • Set up: a mansion with rooms. An NPC prop in each room with Say Dialogue clues, some of them lies. One Stick point per room, Extra participants → spread out.
  • Pick the murderer in secret: /rp roll d<number of players> secret, then /msg whoever it landed on. Don't make a Murderer role: IC chat shows role names.
  • Run it: lights out with Scene Mood → night. After ten minutes you announce the body and everyone gathers. Two rounds of questioning, then a vote in chat.
  • Wins: the town if the vote is right, the murderer if not.

There's a preset for this: Create game → Murder mystery.

Heist

3–6 players · 30 min

  • Set up: a vault with guards (NPC props) and hidden trap points. A trap's On Enter → sound + title "Spotted!" → Teleport back to the start.
  • Roles: Hacker, Lookout, Muscle, Face. A locked point on the vault door; a lever point somewhere else unlocks it.
  • Run it: they plan out of character with /ooc, then go in. With D&D rules on, call Stealth checks at each guard.
  • Wins: anyone who stands on the vault point before the timer ends.

There's a preset for this: Create game → Heist.

Courtroom

5–10 players · 40 min

  • Set up: a courtroom with a Judge, Defence, Prosecution and Defendant role, all required. Extras are the jury, spread across the benches.
  • Run it: hand out the case in the game description. Witnesses speak with /ic, and objections go in /shout. The judge rolls /rp roll d20 when a ruling could go either way.
  • Wins: the jury votes in chat.

There's a preset for this: Create game → Courtroom.

Ghost walk

Any number · 20 min

  • Set up: a haunted path with Scene Mood → storm. Hidden points along it, each On Enter → a sound and a one-word title ("Behind you."). Armor stand props wearing heads at the corners.
  • Run it: start with a cutscene down the path, then let them walk it.
  • Wins: nobody. That's the point.

There's a preset for this: Create game → Ghost walk.

Building contests

Speed build

Any number · 15 min

  • Set up: a row of equal lots, each a build area, one Stick point per lot, spread out. On Game Start → Title with the theme.
  • Run it: 10 minutes on a stopwatch, then /rp end. Building stops with it. Walk the lots.
  • Wins: judges' pick, or a vote in chat.

There's a preset for this: Create game → Speed build.

Blind build

Like a speed build, but each builder gets a different theme. Put a point in the middle of each lot with On Interact → Say Dialogue giving that lot's theme. Only the person who clicks sees it. Everyone guesses each other's theme at the end. Most right guesses wins.

There's a preset for this: Create game → Blind build.

Pixel art

Everyone builds a 32 × 32 picture flat on the ground from the same list of blocks. Record a camera path straight down over every picture for the reveal.

Fashion show

4–10 players · 30 min

  • Set up: a runway and a stage. Each model is a role with a Role Costume (skin + nametag) they pick with you beforehand.
  • Run it: one at a time down the runway, with a spotlight point at the end that plays a sound and a "Next up!" title.
  • Wins: a crowd vote, or the judges' pick.

There's a preset for this: Create game → Fashion show.

For a round nobody has to host, /bb queues you for a quick themed build battle that runs itself.

Party games

Maze race

Build a hedge maze, locked points as keys (each one unlocks the next gate), and dead ends with a point that sends you back to the start. First to the centre wins.

Talent show

A stage point per act, IC chat → Lobby so everyone hears the act, and a Host role that calls the next act up. The audience votes in chat.

There's a preset for this: Create game → Talent show.

Market day

Everyone gets a stall lot and builds a shop. Opening is a cutscene across the market. Visitors browse, and the best-looking stall wins by vote. Real trading happens through /shop.

Photo contest

Everyone takes one shot of your build in photo mode (see Showcase & challenges) and posts it in chat. Best shot wins.

Every time

  • Test it with one friend first. A locked point that should have been open ruins a night.
  • Write the rules in the description. It shows in /rp browse before anyone joins.
  • Keep the lobby open for a second round, and Restore on end so everyone goes home after.
  • You call the winner. The game doesn't keep score. A stopwatch and a chat vote are enough.
