TikTok stream actions on CarbonNetwork with TikFinity
How a creator with the Media role connects TikTok LIVE to CarbonNetwork through TikFinity: a private link from /stream, the event added to it, a webhook action for each gift, like, follow or share, testing, rotating a leaked link, and troubleshooting. The same on every CarbonNetwork server.

TikTok events come from TikFinity, an app for TikTok LIVE on your PC. It watches your stream and calls a private link when something happens. The link tells CarbonNetwork which action to play. For the menu, the board and what everything looks like, see Streaming.
We haven't checked TikFinity's own screens yet. The CarbonNetwork steps below are exact. The TikFinity steps say what has to happen there, and the names of its buttons may differ in your version. What TikFinity sends with the link is also unchecked, which is why the link works without it. If you set this up, a screenshot of each TikFinity screen in a ticket helps us make this page exact.
What you need
- The Media role on CarbonNetwork. Ask with
/applyin our Discord. - TikFinity, connected to your TikTok account and running on your PC while you're LIVE.
- A TikFinity plan that includes its webhook action, if it needs one.
How it fits together
- In game, each action has its own TikTok link. They differ only in the action's name.
- In TikFinity, you make an action that calls a webhook (Trigger Webhook) with that link, and give it the event that sets it off: a gift, likes, a follow, a share or a subscription.
- One TikFinity action per event. To make a Rose throw Confetti and a follow show Hearts, make two TikFinity actions, one with the Confetti link and one with the Hearts link.
Set it up
In game: make your TikTok link
-
/stream→ TikTok → TikTok link. Chat says Your TikTok link is ready. The tile now reads Linked. -
Actions → pick one, like Confetti.
-
Click TikTok link to turn it on. It glows, and the action reads On.
-
Hide your stream, or turn off screen capture. Your link is about to be on screen.
-
Click Copy TikTok link → Show it. Chat says Link for Confetti. with a [Copy link] button. Click [Copy link]. The link is on your clipboard. It's never printed in chat.
-
Paste it somewhere private, like a text file on your PC. You can only copy it again on this server, before you leave. See Your link.
On Bedrock, step 5 shows the link in a form to type out instead.
Add the event to the link
-
Add the event to the end of the link, so your screen says what happened:
The TikFinity action is for Add to the end Your screen says A gift ?event=giftviewer_one sent a Rose, or a viewer sent a gift Likes ?event=likeviewer_one liked the stream, viewer_one sent 15 likes A follow ?event=followviewer_one followed A share ?event=shareviewer_one shared the stream A subscription ?event=subscribeviewer_one subscribed So a gift link ends
.../confetti?event=gift. Use?, not&: your TikTok link has no?in it yet, and a link with&straight after the action's name doesn't work.Without it, your screen says a viewer set off Confetti. That still works; it just doesn't say what happened.
In TikFinity: make the action
-
Open TikFinity and make a new action.
-
Make it Trigger Webhook, and paste your link (with its
?event=) as the address.
- Give it its event: which gift, how many likes, a follow, a share or a subscription. This is where you choose, for example, Rose or at least 100 likes.
- Make sure the action and its event are switched on in TikFinity.
Back in game
-
/stream→ Live on, on the server you're on. -
Test it, below.
Repeat steps 2 to 11 for each action you want.
Test it
- In game: right-click the action in Actions to see how it looks. Works with Live off.
- In TikFinity: if it has a test or simulate button for the event or the action, use it with Live on in game. A test has no real viewer, so your screen may say a viewer.
- For real: go LIVE on TikTok and have a second account follow, like or share. Gifts need a real gift.
What reaches your screen
| Event | Your screen says |
|---|---|
| A gift, with its name | viewer_one sent a Rose, viewer_one sent a Rose x5 |
| A gift, no name sent | viewer_one sent a gift, viewer_one sent 5 gifts |
| Likes | viewer_one liked the stream, viewer_one sent 15 likes |
| A follow | viewer_one followed |
| A share | viewer_one shared the stream |
| A subscription | viewer_one subscribed |
| Nothing said | a viewer set off Confetti |
- The name and the gift are used if TikFinity sends them with the call. Whether it does is unchecked. If it doesn't, the name reads a viewer and the gift a gift.
- Gift and viewer names are cleaned before they're shown: letters and numbers only, and the word filter. What a viewer typed in chat is never shown.
- A TikTok follow counts as Latest follower on your board.
Your link
Your link is private. Anyone who has it can set off your actions, within your cooldowns, until you change it.
- Keep the link off screen. Hide your stream before Show it, and before you paste it.
- Copy it in the visit you made it. CarbonNetwork keeps only a fingerprint of your link, not the link itself, so it can be shown only until you leave the server you made it on (changing server counts). After that, Copy TikTok link says to use the one you saved, or Rotate.
- Every action's link is the same apart from the action's name at the end. Save one, and for
the next action change
confettitohearts, ring, titleand so on. That action needs TikTok link switched on too. The names:hearts, confetti, spiral, ring, sparkle, flames, notes, name, title, actionbar. - It isn't shown while your Twitch stream is live, if you've linked Twitch. Copy your links before you go live.
Rotate
If a link gets out: /stream → TikTok → shift-click Rotate. A new link is made, and every
old TikTok link stops working at once, for every action. Your YouTube links are not touched.
Then copy the new links, in this visit, and paste each into its TikFinity action, with its
?event= added again.
Unlink (shift-click) does the same and also turns TikTok off. To use TikTok again, click TikTok link for a new one.
Troubleshooting
| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Nothing plays | Live is off. It goes off when you leave a server, and changing server counts | /stream → Live on, on the server you're on |
| Nothing plays, Live is on | The action is off in game, or its TikTok link trigger is off | Actions → the action: it should read On, with TikTok link glowing |
| Nothing plays, and both are on | The link is old: you rotated, unlinked, or copied it before | Copy the link again (or Rotate, then copy), add ?event=, and paste it into TikFinity |
| Nothing plays, after adding the event | &event= instead of ?event= | The first thing after the action's name is ? |
| Nothing in the recent list either | The call never reached CarbonNetwork | Check the link was pasted whole, that TikFinity is running and connected, and that its action and event are switched on |
| It played once, then not again | Cooldown | Lower Cooldown in game |
| Nothing plays in a fight | Quiet in combat | Wait for the skipped line, or switch it off |
| a viewer set off Confetti | The link has no ?event= | Add it, see step 7 |
| a viewer sent a gift | TikFinity didn't send the name or the gift | Nothing to fix on your side. Tell us in a ticket, with what TikFinity shows |
| "a viewer" instead of a name | Names is off, the name failed the filter, or TikFinity didn't send one | Check Names |
| That link can only be shown in the visit it was made in. | You've left the server since you made it | Use the copy you saved, or Rotate |
| Your Twitch stream is live. | Links aren't shown while you're live on Twitch | End the Twitch stream, copy, then go live |
| No TikTok link tile in an action | TikTok isn't linked, or it's the Hype train action, which is Twitch only | Link TikTok first |
| The TikTok tile says Not set up on CarbonNetwork yet | That server isn't set up for links yet | Tell staff which server |
| Likes set off far fewer actions than they should | Cooldown, 30 a minute, three animations at once, or more than 60 calls a minute to your TikTok link | Set TikFinity to call on a larger number of likes |
| Staff have paused stream actions. | A staff pause | Ask staff in a ticket |
